My husband & I moved here in April 24 2026 we have not been disappointed at all have made so many friends neighbors a lot of things for entertainment movies in the media room to social events weekly and monthly including our pets in fun events as well just a fun place to call home if u are interested in playing cards or a puzzle person or just love reading we have a game room and library for such things ….the pool area is great as well with grills and gas fire pits if you move here and are bored you aren’t getting involved lol the staff is great as well we are one of the younger couples here but that doesn’t matter to us

Maintenance came in a timely fashion. He called prior to arrival. I told him that I was in the hospital and asked if he could let himself in. He said yes. By the time my husband got home. Everything was fixed to perfection . We are more than pleased. He did a great job.

Maintenance came in identified the running toilet fixed the chain, it was resolved quickly and did not disturb my work from home meeting. Foul dog odor on some Elevators !!! ( didn’t start smelling this way until huge gigantic sheep dog arrived ). Not sure if it’s a service dog bc it doesn’t wear anything to tell us that. I’m told on 3 rd floor that it runs loose.& a lot of residents is afraid of it.

Please note that I've already renewed my subscription. The only real problem here at Chandler is the fact that the front entrance doors are impossible to open ... unless you have body-builder with you to help open them. We were promised a remedy to this over two years ago!

Been at Mera Chandler for a total of 6 days now and absolutely LOVE it . The staff and residents are extremely friendly and helpful. My Monthly Activity calendar sits permanently on my fridge so I won’t miss a thing ! . So far have attended a Wellness Class , a Yoga Class and am learning how to play Mahjong ! Tomorrow I have my Aquafit class in the pool ! Can’t wait ! At some point I will finish unpacking but haven’t had the time !

Lack of a ramp in eastside parking area is very high on my list of necessary safety requirement. The clubhouse exterior doors require handicapped access buttons, those doors are very heavy and difficult to open for residents/visitors using walkers, wheelchairs. scooters or arthritis in fingers/hands. The building was constructed with inexpensive fixtures/finishes such as no grab bars in the bathrooms, this is not age related but safety related, very very low toilets, fixed showers no handheld option, barely one coat of paint on the walls and as a pet owner I would prefer no carpet in the apt. I rarely attend any of the social programs held in the Bistro due to the acoustics when it's a full room I cannot decipher anything being said with or without hearing aids. I do enjoy the friends I have made over the past year, love the location of Mera and my apartment, overall it was the right move for me. I understand that Mera Chandler was probably constructed after Covid and construction was difficult with everythin

I signed my lease two plus weeks before I moved anything in the apartment. It was close to September 1st before my furniture arrived. I did not realize that the first morning light in my bedroom was going to be so bright. The blinds do their best but I don't think I can put anything on the window to keep the light out especially when it will be coming soon just a little after 5:00 a.m. I love my apartment but if I had realized the morning light, I may have picked a different direct to be facing.

The scent machine on our first floor is so over powering. I have asthma and the smell comes into our apartment every time we open our door. If you could turn it down we would be very grateful.

Enjoy all my neighbors on the ground floor near the Pickleball court. Many have been here as long as I have or even longer just a really nice group of people. I’m also involved in most of the daily activities whether it be Mahjong Mexican train Dominoes Hand and Foot love all the games. I also enjoy the faith group and the community event at feed my starving children.

From day one, every staff member has been incredibly kind, professional, and genuinely eager to help with anything that comes up. Their dedication and positive attitudes make a real difference. I especially want to highlight Jodi, who does an outstanding job answering questions and making the entire moving process smooth and pleasant. She possesses a genuine attitude of care and concern and is extremely knowledgeable. Jodi goes above and beyond to ensure residents feel welcomed and supported, and it truly shows. The apartments themselves are clean, modern, and well maintained. I absolutely love how peaceful and quiet the community is—it’s the perfect place to relax and feel at home. The residents are also very friendly, which adds to the warm, welcoming atmosphere. There are many activities and amenities available, and I’ve especially enjoyed the media room for sporting events. Staff is open for suggestions & are very accommodating. Landscaping could be better addressed but we know budgets are tight. We love it here. Third floor facing West is very noisy from the surrounding buildings & businesses. Our Trash Compactor every night is noisy. Rents should take this into consideration as we are not facing any of the property amenities. MC is amazing👍

I enjoy living at Mera and I find the staff to be very friendly and attentive. I am a bit of an introvert and I’ve been accustomed to living in a home with loved ones, so apartment living and being alone has been an adjustment. The only thing I would change would be to have a parking space that I can see my car from my apartment, but that is not essential. I just hope that any rent increases will not be so high that it influences me to have to move eventually.

I think that the staff should arrange for extra things to do like getting an instructor to teach line dancing, more cooking demonstrations,bringing in cover band acts, etc. We are an active community, resident led, but there are some things that mera chandler staff could do for us ("go the extra mile") thanks. My family and I were guests at Mera Chandler for 6 days. We were completely thrilled with everything about the facility. From the staff…Scott..Jodie… to the lovely residents I was able to meet. Our suite was beautifully decorated and beyond anything that we were expecting. High ceilings..large rooms and lovely appointments. There was plenty of storage. We were able to take advantage of several of the amenities offered..I.e. the gym…the pool.and the multiple special rooms..library…wrapping..puzzle..yoga room with all the equipment and more. If we lived locally, and were choosing a facility to enjoy luxury senior living, the Mera would be our first choice by far.

I feel lease should be 2 years with no increase of rent. When renewaling the lease then should not increase so much. Long term residents should not have their rent increase a lot. Most of the events are during the day and not like 5:30pm or weekends. Should send the sign in sheet to our email so can add our name instead of having to go to the leasing office. The calendar should be email to us because you have to go to the 1st floor and its so small to read on the bullet board. The people on the first floor need to control their dogs. Barking 5:30 AM and late at night. People should not knock constantly at my door. I open my door only if I am expecting somebody or expecting packages. I don't need someone to tell me I have a package at my door. I work and open my door when I can to get any packages. I receive only my packages. Only 2 times Amazon never delivered my packages and I called them and they resent it. I always say to my door all my packages. Someone on Saturday knocking on my door at 7:30pm and I just

The events are never at a time I can attend. Town hall meetings are at a time that I cannot attend. There are dogs barking all the time. Loud noises from above apartments. People parking in my spot. There is never a phone that’s answered you can only leave a voicemail. The amount of rent keeps going up. And I was never given the option for a longer lease but some others do. It isn’t equitable. Lastly it has become more of an assisted living community.

The tour I had of Mera Chandler's independent living community was fantastic. It was beautiful, but they didn't offer the transportation that I needed to get back and forth to dialysis. The apartment was spectacular. It offered everything that you would want. It has a side-by-side refrigerator, a walk-in closet, and spacious bathrooms. The apartment as a whole was very spacious. Each apartment has its own personal gate, I believe, where you can come and go at your own pace. They have three meals a day, potluck dinners, and all kinds of activities for the residents. If you want to order groceries, you can do that, too, and they can bring them up to the front of the apartment door. The person who gave the tour was very informative, answered all my questions, and presented all their amenities.

I recently moved to the Mera community after staying at Sparrow property in Houston Texas and was impressed with my stay. Once I found out Sparrow had a Chandler location, I stopped in and met with Jodi the property manager and soon after joined the Mera community.
